Moisture causes the surface of the photo to swell and stick to the glossy inside of the glass frame. If detected early the photo can be removed by holding a hair dryer between the photo and the glass. If it starts to rip, any further attempt will remove the photo but leave a portion of it stuck on the glass.
Removing of glass frames from windows and near potplants will protect them from accidental water splashing onto them.
Glass frames should be sealed with tape on the back to avoid moisture entering the frame.
